AZ CCTV & Security partnered with Scottsdale Marquessa to modernize and upgrade their existing surveillance system, improving reliability, image quality, and overall system performance across the entire property.
This project focused on replacing outdated recording equipment and cameras while reusing existing cabling and infrastructure to provide a cost-effective, efficient security upgrade for this multi-building apartment community.
Multi-DVR Surveillance Recorder Replacement
At the core of this upgrade was the installation of four (4) new 16-channel DVR surveillance recorders, replacing the property’s existing DVR units.
These upgraded DVRs provide improved recording reliability, better video management, and enhanced system stability, allowing centralized monitoring and long-term recording across multiple buildings on the property.
Camera Upgrades Across All Property Buildings
To improve video clarity and coverage, we upgraded a total of thirty (30) cameras, including:
- North Building: 8 analog cameras + 1 IP camera
- East Building: 8 analog cameras
- South Building: 5 analog cameras
- West Building: 8 analog cameras
The new cameras deliver clearer images, improved low-light performance, and more dependable monitoring of entrances, walkways, parking areas, and shared spaces throughout the community.
Reuse of Existing Cabling & Infrastructure
To minimize disruption and reduce project costs, Scottsdale Marquessa elected to reuse existing:
- Cabling
- Power supplies
- Wireless bridges
All existing infrastructure was tested during installation. Any non-functional components were identified, with replacement materials and associated labor available as needed.
This approach allowed the property to upgrade security performance without a full rewire.
Complete Equipment Installation & System Integration
Our team handled full installation of all system components, including:
- Four (4) DVR surveillance recorders
- Thirty (30) upgraded cameras
- Supporting accessories and hardware
Each camera was carefully mounted, aligned, and integrated into the new DVR system to ensure optimal coverage and consistent performance across all buildings.
